Co Down-based podcaster and marketer Esther Ocampo has been confirmed as a speaker at next week’s Entrepreneurs Unleashed conference.
The inaugural event, which will take place later this month at the Cathy Short Theatre in North Belfast on November 28, promises to be an exciting day of learning and networking for entrepreneurs looking to take their businesses to new heights.
Organised by multi-disciplinary media and marketing agency Excalibur Press, the conference will feature a diverse lineup of speakers, offering actionable insights and expert advice on a variety of topics to help businesses grow and succeed.
Esther Ocampo, founder of IPA Group, a bilingual digital marketing agency based in Rathfriland, County Down, will join a panel of industry experts for a discussion titled ‘The Truth About Social & Digital Marketing’.
Alongside Ruth Young (Ruthless Media) and Stefany Watson (Digital Ghost), Esther will uncover the realities and best practices of social and digital marketing, providing invaluable insights and actionable strategies to help businesses achieve measurable results in today’s ever-evolving digital landscape.
Explaining what she hopes ticketholders will take away from her discussion with fellow empowered businesswomen in the industry, Esther outlined that not everything has to be done solo.
She said: “I’ll be on the social media panel “The Truth about Social and Digital Marketing’, where the idea is to emphasise how social media is a necessary evil.
“There are people out there who can help you with it, you can get help/training to do it yourself and social and digital go hand in hand – they need each other to succeed.”
With expertise in website design, branding, social media, AI and automation, Esther and her team at IPA Group help businesses thrive in both English and Spanish-speaking markets, with the Rathfriland native being passionate about helping others succeed online, believing that the internet offers vast untapped resources for businesses to grow, whether they are looking to sell locally or internationally.
Entrepreneurs Unleashed, sponsored by Belfast City Council, will feature a broad range of experts sharing knowledge on topics ranging from social media and digital marketing to innovation, finance, and business growth strategies.
Attendees can expect to walk away with practical tips, strategies, and knowledge to elevate their marketing efforts, build their brand online, and grow their businesses. Networking opportunities will also be available throughout the day, providing entrepreneurs with the chance to connect with like-minded individuals and industry leaders.
Tina Calder, Chief Vision Officer at parent company Excalibur Press and the visionary behind the event, highlighted the conference’s importance in the current climate.
She said: “Excalibur Press works with dozens of entrepreneurs each year and the one thing we realised was there wasn’t an event completely dedicated to those small to medium businesses who wanted to find ways of taking their business to the next level.
“We are lucky to have a fantastic array of corporate partners, consultants, and associates we work with on a regular basis so we decided to incorporate the fantastic expertise and knowledge they bring to our extended team.”
Concluding why she wants to be a part of the first Entrepreneurs Unleashed event, Esther said: “Entrepreneurs Unleashed looks like it’ll be just up my street.
“It’s breaking the “norms” entrepreneurs usually face.
“I’m looking forward to hearing from different speakers from a wide range of industries.”
Entrepreneurs Unleashed is sponsored by Belfast City Council, Belfast Met, MovieHouse, MCS Branding, Oranga Creative, Media Print & Design and Excalibur Press.
