As more and more people are working from home a unique webinar is being held on Thursday, April 16 to help transform face-to-face training into online courses.
Hosted by publicist, journalist and commentator, Tina Calder, the free webinar will reveal the methods and tactics needed to make the successful transition to online training.
“Regardless of the reasons why you want to take one of your face to face sessions online, the work you have to put in to prepare it is the same,” said Tina.
“It is true that you can present your existing slides online through software such as Zoom or GoToMeeting for example, but running a webinar (like this will be) is completely different to creating an online course you’ll be able to sell many times over.”
Beginning at 3pm on Thursday places are still available to book now for this slide/video-based session.
“As a result of the Covid-19 crisis more and more of our clients at Excalibur Press are asking us to help them with their digital transformation” explained Tina, adding: “From creating online courses and mapping our marketing and sales funnels what the Corona virus has done is force many entrepreneurs and businesses to fast forward or accelerate their desires to move their services and products online.”
As founder of Excalibur Press publicity management, content creation and copywriting agency and The Content Club blog Tina has been in the business working in Northern Ireland for the last 20 years and has worked with a number of thought leaders over the years.
“Over the last number of years I’ve studied the online course market and taken many courses myself as well as training in how to create courses,” she said.
“There are a lot of small tips and tricks and tactics that people can use to ensure they create a long-lasting business rather than just something that will subside when the crisis subsides.
“Moving content online simply isn’t a case of chucking up an existing slide deck and hoping for the same results. It’s just simply not going to be the case.”
The masterclass will cover: how to audit and analyse your current course content; how to reshape that content for an online course; formatting your new online course; how to create a content plan for your course; tactics, tips and tricks to promote it; how to create a quick and easy marketing funnel; and, what marketing assets you will need.
It will also delve into managing your expectations, what technology or software you might need, and creating timelines for your course.
Tina said: “We’ve set aside an hour and a half for this overview webinar which will help you start thinking about what you need in order to get your course up and running. There will, of course, be an opportunity to ask questions throughout.”
