Bangor businessman and Northern Ireland director of Toastmasters International Kevin O’Reilly is set to take to the stage for the inaugural Entrepreneurs Unleashed conference later this month.
The event, which is taking place at the Cathy Short Theatre in Belfast on November 28 at Jennymount Business Park, is designed to ignite entrepreneurial spirit and provide actionable insights to growing businesses.
Organised by multi-disciplinary media and marketing agency Excalibur Press, Entrepreneurs Unleashed is poised to be a pivotal opportunity for entrepreneurs seeking fresh outlooks on local industries and practical tools to elevate their businesses. The insightful conference aims to spark entrepreneurial innovation and provide actionable strategies for business growth.
Originally from North Belfast, Bangor-based business owner Kevin of Thrive Now Group will be speaking on one of the most common fears faced by entrepreneurs: public speaking.
The event, organised by multi-disciplinary media and marketing agency Excalibur Press, aims to provide entrepreneurs with the tools, strategies and insights they need to grow their businesses and overcome challenges in today’s fast-paced market.
As a seasoned communications specialist and leadership coach, Kevin will delve into the psychological barriers surrounding public speaking, offering practical solutions for overcoming these fears during his talk titled ‘Communicating With Impact: What Are You Afraid Of?’
Kevin’s discussion will explore how mastering the art of communication can be a game-changer for business owners looking to increase their influence, build meaningful connections and accelerate growth, making it a brilliantly insightful listen for attendees later this month.
Kevin also serves as the Division Director for Toastmasters International across Northern Ireland and the west coast of Ireland, supporting members of the world’s largest nonprofit public speaking organisation in building confidence and mastering the art of communication.
Through his combined roles, Kevin is committed to inspiring growth and fostering a positive mindset in all those he works with, viewing his entrepreneurial journey as one of continuous development.
He said: “I am a ferocious learner who studies successful behaviours and can translate these into actionable, achievable, life changing opportunities for individuals.
“The journey I have been on has not been straightforward, as any good entrepreneur will tell you, but I don’t believe in failure or the word can’t.
“I take full responsibility for my outcomes or shortcomings, so the entrepreneur journey for me has been one of curiosity and learning.
“I love the person I am turning into on this path.”
